Where Can I get an FTP program? What FTP Programs do you recommend?

There are many different FTP programs available on the internet, you can get:

WS_FTP at http://www.wsftp.com

CuteFTP at http://www.cuteftp.com/downloads/cuteftp.asp

SmartFTP at http://www.smartftp.com

Filezilla at http://sourceforge.net/projects/filezilla

Hostname: yourdomain.com

Username: cpanel username

Password: cpanel password

Passive FTP: ON

If you use Internet Explorer to FTP, enter ftp://username:[email protected] (change username and password to cpanel username and password, yourdomain.com to your domain)

We recommend using a regular FTP program for FTP accounts you have created yourself because Internet Explorer has a hard time dealing with the username with an @ symbol in it. You can use ftp://[email protected] for these but it may not show all folders after logging in.
